It is no secret that newborns are my favorite subject to photograph. I put in a lot of extra care and training to make sure I am posing your new baby in the most safe and careful ways. You will have access to my fully stocked studio with plenty of wraps, props, outfits, hats, headbands, etc. I purchase all of my items from newborn prop makers so they are sure to fit your babies from 4 pounds to 10 pounds. You are welcome to bring in your own items as well. Please send me pictures of those items before your session.
It is best to contact me during your pregnancy to book your newborn session. $50 down to guarantee your session. You have 2 options for newborn sessions, please read all the information for both before booking your session.
Once baby is born you will then contact me for an exact date and time. The best time frame to photograph newborns are during those first 2-3 weeks.
Day of Session:
To be honest, I want a hungry sleepy baby. If you can keep baby awake for a hour or two before session that would be great. I like the baby to be fed here in the studio at the beginning of the session. Dress baby in something simple, preferably something that buttons up the front. Try not to put tight socks on your baby, they will leave lines around the ankle. If your baby takes a bottle, please bring plenty of formula. Babies tend to eat more during a newborn session then usual. A pacifier is great to help soothe baby between feedings.
If you are pregnant reserve your session HERE
If baby is already here, please contact me to see when next available session is available.
